Scum bags (with upsetting images)

(Apologies for the six years lurking before posting!)

This was my beloved cab, until some waste of space decided a few days ago, that it would be fun to steal it, and then to set it on fire. It was in immaculate condition, low mileage and this has really :cens: me off and upset the whole family.

It was only driven for a few miles before they did this. I would have been marginally less upset if they stripped the car for parts, at least there would have been some point to it. :banghead:

I doubt it. It was taken from a quiet rural street after midnight, no CCTV, and obviously no prints, DNA or such stuff.

Thanks guys.

It was a nice one, I bought it in 2006 with 70,000 miles, full history, leather sports seats, BBS and so on. It was a 320, which I know isn't the one that everyone wants, but I thought was great.

I will get another (it was my 3rd E30) plus my missus and kids thought it was brilliant. I love E30s and this one was so reliable; in six years and 20 odd thousand miles, it never broke down and the only thing I needed to replace was a window switch.

sorry to hear that. Get the insurance monies and buy another.

If you don't get another they win. It must be hard but like most other things, the quicker you get "back on the horse" the better.

Best of luck.

No point in hoping they get the pond life as they'll get a slapped wrist at best!

I just wonder at the mentallity of the sub humans that can do this to a beatiful ptece of machinery. Trouble is if they are caught what will the law do? Ten mins with a few zoners might discourage them from repeat offences. Bring back public floggings I say.

Heartbreaking! I can only imagine how aggrieved you must have been on realising that your car wasn't there.
Best of luck finding another, should you choose to try.

No doubt the scum that did it have nothing to their name but criminal records, they need some seriously painful punishment

Where did this happen?

What makes anyone want to destroy a beautiful piece of machinery like that :?
Ok, you've nicked it, had what you consider to be fun, so why not just park it up
and leave it. Just doesn't make sense.
Fucking cretins.

You beat me to it, Mick.

Sad sad times! :(

I would freak the f*ck out if it happened to mine.

Don't let the insurance company mug you off with some measly offer of a pay out.

Find similar condition/mileage cars for sale ads and negotiate a decent settlement figure.

A clean cabrio with sub 100k has got to be worth north of £2500 and not the £500 an insurance company with no doubt initially offer.

What comes round always goes around.

10 years time when these low life lift themselves from the gutter, save their money, stretch to a E46 cab, the same will happen to them, and then it will be so unfair.

Hope you recover from this, its only a blip, although a very low one.

I'm sorry but I really don't agree with the above!

These coonts will keep being coonts and we'll keep moaning about them.

The minute anyone gives them a good kicking (exactly what they deserve) when they catch them on the rob. They will be the ones punished!

Human Rights, you've got to love them!!!

The thing is, they know that they won't get away with keeping it and they'd rather that no-one had it, and now no-one does....

It's a low "blip" alright, about as low as it gets in our "little world"...

When mine was nicked I fully expected that if I ever saw it again it would resemble the Op's pics, but I was very, very lucky.

Such a shame.

Scum bags, police are usually useless even when they've caught the blighter.

the bloody number plate of the recovery lorry didn't help things either!
