How many of those e30 shells bent on landing then?

I've had mine in the air a couple times. Only a foot or so but it's scary as hell

I've seen the result of an E36 that had been airborne! It was quite impressive.
Both front strut towers had split on the welds and left strut top shaped marks in the bonnet. Both front struts had bent back and folded the front wings up into the floorpan.
Rear was a similar story, both strut towers were bulging and the rear wheels had pushed the arches out.

cant imagine an e30 doing that now, it will be a pile of rust left on the floor when it lands

There's a nice railway bridge fairly locally, 55mph and you're airborne. It caught me out a few times & full on air ensued.. Observations: 6 pots tend to ground out from a scrape to a chassis shuddering bang. 4 pots just make you brace in fear of sump disintegration, by which time the experience is ruined..
