E30 Zone

Simon13 has been banned for 31 days, simply due to him breaking the rules of conduct by using inappropriate language towards a moderator.

I have tried twice to ring Simon and man to man talk but at the moment his phone goes to voicemail. He is a good lad but he CAN NOT abuse Moderators or Admin.

The line has been drawn/re-drawn.

Now lets get on with E30Zoning !!!

Simon got banged up for having a pop at Willnz after he decided to show his face again after laying low for nearly a year since he "supposedly" stopped being a team member but clearly always has been.

surely 31 days is a bit strong for offensive language? people call each other coonts on here all the time as far as I can see!

No idea what happened but it would need to have been a whopper of an swear word to get him 31 days...

and in my opinion who it was said by and the fact that the moderator in question sees him as part of a gang that he obviously doen't like.

I think that there is a feeling that if you are 'one of the gang' then you are fairly untouchable but if you are not then the slightest heated argument will get you jail time..
I believe that if you are going to give people 31 day sentences for abuse then that should be a global policy throughout the site.. I have seen the same old faces getting personal or abusing newcomers to the site for asking straightforward questions without reprimand time and time again..
I don't personally care that much, it's not my site and there are plenty of other E30 websites around.. but maybe this explains partly the number of visitors and newbies who pop in and don't come back because the grizzled old few (half of whom don't even appear to own an E30 anymore) don't like change, stance, tinted rear lights, newbies, kids, drifting etc etc and would like to keep the site set back in the mid nineties..

anyway.. that's my two pennies for what it's worth.. there's no offence meant, it's just an observation from a new-ish but regular visitor..

Doesn't take much to get banged up on here. Personal dislikes, time of the month, power trips etc.

Tom only problem with that is Si is one of the old gand as you put it. If you look there is a far few of the regulars that have served a streach at one time or another.
