E30 Zone

Looking to get some new upper spring pads. Was looking at getting 3mm ones but i seem to remember reading somewhere that spring pads from other BMWs also fit. Is this right as a quick look on RealOEM shows one for the E90 are half the price of E30 ones? Though it doesn't list the tickness.

I know e34 ones fit and they are thicker than e 30 spring pads. I do not know the thickness off hand.
