hi, is there a difference between the rear calipers of a touring and the other e30s? i thought there is :?

would the rear calipers of an abs touring fit ones with no abs?

what are the differences between the brakes on the front of a 318 touring(vented) and a 325?

can anyone let me know, cheers

touring front brakes will be the same as saloon 325 brakes.

I believe the pistons in the touring rear calipers are bigger than saloon ones. Calipers will fit a non-ABS car although anything with disc rear end will probably have had ABS on (or the mounting holes for the sensors will be in the trailing arm hub)

Incase you did not know, to fit a disc rear end setup, you need trailing arms from a disc braked rear end, you can't fit a disc setup to a car with just the drums on the back.

cheers. i have a 1990 318 touring non abs. my rear calipers are working fine, but they are really crusty. i could get some replacements from a 316 1994 touring with abs and they look alot better than mine.

always wondered why the brake discs have different listings for e30 on ebay sometimes. (non vented, vented) is an obvious one. i assumed they were all 260mm.

thanks :D
