done as above to stop it falling but i hear a sound know like tappets ticking when i drive about any ideas any one

Remove the centre cap from the steering wheel. Bung a load of blu-tack in. Replace centre cap.

The ticking noise is transmitted into the car through the steering column from the engine bay - its nothing to worry about and the "blu tack" fix will get rid of much of it.

i was amazed to sounds good got some sound proofing might just cut some circles an packet in see what happens

The noise is usually the injectors by the way.
They tick by design.
