Hi Folks, can anyone recommend a good value battery charger which can charge and condition the battery.

My cabs been parked up in the garage for the last 2 months and the battery is flat, the car wont be going anywhere for the next few months and want to try and keep the battery in OK condition.

Had a look on ECP and there are a few to choose from and not sure what I would really need.

Both look good but not that cheap, trying to keep the cost down with Christmas on the way, anything else?

There was a thread recently about this, I've just bought the CTEK MXS 5.0 which is the replacement for the X3600 and a bit better (I need to do everything from motorbike batteries to large car batteries) so it depens what you want really, however it should mean that the X3600 should be slightly cheaper so hunt around.
I'm pretty sure that the Halfords one says on the pack (this is from memory from a couple of months ago but I'm happy to be proven wrong) that the unit is not to be left switched on and connected which kind of defeats the whole point.

I had a good look yesterday and for my budget the CTEK X3600 looks like the one i'll buy.

Borrowed my brothers ancient charger last night but it does what I need. Unfortunatly he needs it back for his M5 thats parked up for the winter :(
