hi all this is the prob, I love my tourer and so does my bro in law with more money than sence. He has offered me 1800 for my 325i tourer with out all the ice and 3000 with all the ice. What should i do, my tourer has a massive mod/spec list, if i did sell what else is out there?

I'd keep it despite the generous offer. Like you say, if you've got a highly specced car then 3000 won't replace it if there isn't one out there to replace it with. If/when i move back to the uk i'd seriously consider bringing my car with me for the reason that i'd be lucky to find a replacement with equivalent spec'. I don't care about the lhd thing, i can pretend it's a knackered M3!

i dunno fella, 3000 pounds buys u alot of metal mate, then again, 1800 is almost 2000, and 2000 aint bad if u sold the ice on separate.. but a K for the ice might be askin alot?

for the 3k, i would take it and get a 540 as you sarcasticly suggested to your missus. Tell her the 5 series is more grown up.... just dont let on about the v8.... until you plant your right foot when shes in the passenger seat and she goes "hhhhhooooly shhhhiiiit".

Take the money and then look for a really mint touring.
Bit like mine but better. You can save/add a bit to the pot while your looking for mods
