Were to buy a fan as above an how much

I bought my kenlowe one from demon tweeks.

How much did u pay

Directly from Kenlowe. Around £130 IIRC.

It came with all the bits required for fitting and was a doddle to install.
I found Kenlowe exceptionally helpful in specifying the right kit for my car. Recommended.

What's iirc mean what come in the kit any extra things to buy

I think i paid £150 and it came with a fitting kit and thermostat.

IIRC means "if i remember correctly".

Imy, you were told separately on another thread where you asked about fan upgrades that the persons telling you that you needed an electric fan because you were not going to run an oil cooler on the 325 swap were talking a load of crap.

Seriously dude, don't waste your money on an electric fan setup for a normal 325i lump. The standard viscous setup is more than up to the job. Plus an electric fan would only make any difference to the engine and oil temp if it was running constantly, which you don't want or need to have. If an electric fan was running all the time you would probably lose engine power anyway because of the extra work the alternator would have to be doing.

Stick with the viscous unless you just want to blow money

This is like the 'fan delete' nonsense* that's on E36 Coupe. Doesn't produce an extra bean of power and makes engine cooling marginal - but hey, it's all the rage so let's do it.

*Removing the viscous fan and letting the air con fan cool the rad - even though there's a sodding great air con condenser in the way........
