Has anyone bought anything from Schmiedmann out of Denmark?
Are they reliable ? Reason i ask is i am thinking of getting a radiator from them . Cheaper shipping to Barbados from there , UK to Barbados shipping rates are insane.

Not yet, they are opening a UK operation at the moment, just not up and running yet. Heard their products are good quality so should be a good buy, its not cheap but the quality speaks for itself.

They have been going for a good few years and I have not heard anything untoward about them

You also need to make sure they pay the VAT on your behalf, otherwise you will get stung for it by the carrier, they hold packages for approx 2 weeks waiting for you to pay the VAT.

Prices wouldnt be so good if you are ordering from UK because they will add on a tax there and then there's VAT. Since i am outside the EU i dont pay the tax or Vat at all so its a hefty saving for me if i buy it from them. Might have to pay VAT here , but our vat rate is much lower ans usually they dont charge you duties for single personal items.Think i'll go ahead , i did a google search and almost everyone seems to be happy with their service and the quality of products.

so whats their postage rate? i doubt they will be selling a hot climate rad like mine, sorry i can't make the postage cheaper on my brand new genuine rad!

They quoted me US $72 to Barbados , i've tried lots of places in UK , the cheapest shipping option i came across was about £95.

Just an update , ordered a whole set of parts from Schmiedmann - Radiator/Hoses/Service parts - all filters , plugs , some fitting screws and clips. Delivered in 10 days , great service!Great prices.
I will definitely do business with them again. They also have a used parts section.
