whining diff? - turn up the stereo

water in footwell? - wear flip-flops

(...any other suggestions? winkeye)

Mine's held together with electrical tape. But Gaffer/Duct tape would work better...

Didn't someone (smithy318i, IIRC) use their windscreen washer pump as a temporary replacement for when his fuel pump packed up?!

I had a trans-am with the bottom of the doorcard removed and a 15mm spanner in the centre pocket.. if you wanted the drivers window open you had to hold down the switch and tap the motor with the spanner.. I spent a good few thousand on the engine, drivetrain and having the paint sorted out.. never did fix that window though...

in fairness there's very little effort transferred via that assy

gravitational resistance vs spring load will overcome any issues unless you're aggressively rallying it, like me winkeye

I should get a picture - there must be 20 washers or more in there! Its only being moved now and then at my house and i've got a new ball joint for it to press in when i can be arsed to do it!

To be fair I can't claim this as my own work - my best mate did this epic bodge to his Mitsubishi FTO - could quite easily be done on an E30 though :D

Glovebox torch knackered or missing? Just remove the centre console and there's sure to be one lying underneath.
