you bought a crash damaged turd for £350 and paid for it to be delivered, without even looking at it...and wonder why you get problems
with the amount it sounds youve spent on it you could of bought a nice one surely

Personally I wouldn't have gone near it if it had a front end smash. It may look fine/straight but the structural integrity will have been weakened. You're only inviting trouble further down the line.

fair play for having the will and determination for saving it man, suppose with projects like that...its bound to have times you ponder giving up, but soldier through it if your heart is in it

Agree with you completely but sometimes you have to know when to stop throwing cash in the money-pit.
Get some pictures up.

E30 front ends can be a proper tw@t to line up properly even on a straight car!! Everything is adjustable though, so with a little fiddling you should be able to get it right eventually

Can't be arsed working out what this is all about, but the 'management' are cracking down on this kind of thing in our forums.
If anyone fancies a spell in the slammer, then keep it up!

nice pm polsta!
polsta wrote:so whats your problem then keep trying to have digs at me and play the sucker thinking your funny
is there any need or reason for it ?
never had a problem with you, or you me...yet you insist latley on being a , any reason ? "up pops magpie with a dig...suprise suprise" is getting the theme latley, makes me laugh and i couldnt really care a f**k, ...but its just tedious and i dont wish to have thread after thread containing tits like you having a swipe
best for the good of the board and peoples threads if you just lay off and keep out my way/ignore me if you cant help being a coz its getting tedious
you seem to think it's fine to have random pops at anyone and slate there cars.
'sport'. maybe you would do well just to keep your big mouth shut and your opinions to yourself.

Got the link to the original listing so we can have a look? Sounds like some impact! Does sound like you may be best taking off the bits you need, fragging the rest and switch them to a new shell.
I bought my E30 for £400 and poured a lot of time and monies into it.. still a long way to go but enjoying it more and more with each improvement

it doesn't sound like you can afford to run a car
e30's must be one of the cheapest cars to run out there, taking into account total cost of ownership

i'm fed up of my e30... it's currently sat in my workshop in primer ready to be painted... as soon as that's done and i get a fresh mot on it... it's going.
Mick i always had a lot of respect for you on here... but don't think you should of posted up the PM... at least Polsta took it to PM so it's kept between you.... in this instance it just makes you look a bit childish wanting to get the better on this thead.... as said... i got a lot of respect for you so please don't think i'm having a pop.
Polsta's not the only one who has digs on others threads... won't be the first and certainly won't be the last.

sending abusive pm's is out of order, when i opened the pm my 10 year old daughter was sat watching and read it.
let's just say i'm not best pleased about that.
cheers for the heads up mr Haywood,no offense taken .
