Fitted a set to my sport and am really not sure if I'm honest.

On a nicely spec'd SE saloon I think they look alright, but on sports etc I think they look messy.
Put it this way, I've never even thought once that I would retro fit them. If they were on a car I had bought then maybe they would stay (assuming they worked)

I think they only look ok with certain "front ends" and colours.... But in all honesty I don't like them

unnecessary weight/cost/expense to me. each to their own though

They are handy when they work.... but they don't look great.

Look pretty cool when they're in motion I think.

I think they look great, makes the front look meaner...
Having said that, they would look naff on today's BMW's.

The OEM big spec monster in me says yes.
But somehow they seem more aggro than they are worth and the "less is More" in me says no.
If that makes sense!!!

They look rubbish.
Ruin the look of the front end IMO.

never had a set that worked but that never bothered me, but really like the look, esp on a sport/high spec model...except an m3 of course

A working set is definately worthwhile during the winter months, as it saves having to pop ut to clear built up snow from the lenses, meaning your stil able to see roughly where you're going.

I'm a fan of them... Mine dont work on the chrome as its just the motors and the arms... I got bored of installing them when I started ages ago. I need a new washer bottle too before that goes in as the original one is well dirty.
Also didnt install the rings with the clips on them as it seems I lost one... When it turns up, it will be switched over.
But I think they only suit certain cars, my front would look bare without them now...

Look shite, they only serve a purpose if you cant be arsed to clean your car and drive in snow/shit weather frequently, also if this is the case your E30 will soon be reduced to sweeping brush fodder so again, pointless!

I had them (not working) on my old two door, and have fully functioning ones on my Touring. I think they're great. Sunroofs and HLWW iss where it's at for me

as they should be standard on my sport, ive been thinking about them a fair bit, like above the oem homo in me says yes, but the less is more factor...and bottom line is if im honest i think they look rubbish and clunky and cut a bit out of the light corners and just ruin the front end look, and il probably never fit them to my sport, if they looked and worked a bit better and didnt clutter up and cut across the corners likey they do...
plus i keep my car clean, not driven in snow ice and crap or ever get filty, dirtiest my head lights ever get is a few flies squashed on them, and looking at them vids (1st time ive ever seen them working) they dont even look good working and look a bit blue peter like some wannabe clever dick has pointlessly made them for the car

My Touring has it, I need to re-condition the motors, I find when its working, its good, but troublesome as everyone knows!

Three of my four E30s have had them. Two of them had one seized, and they are a b*tch to take apart and repair and get working properly, and often go out of synch, so you end up with one at an odd angle, which looks awful.
But I think they add a certain je ne sais quoi to the front end if in good working order.

Its a bit like fitting heated locks/mirrors etc if you never drive your car in winter!

I had them on the Touring and they looked ok in a sports utility sort of way - they look crap on 2 doors and convertibles. Don't think I ever actually used them.

If you ever drove with lights on and used your screen washer, then you didn't have any option. Their operation is automatic.

I've got heated seats in the sport but I never use it unless the sun is out
I'm in favour for the headlamp wash, adds a tad bit of detail to the front.

if you have HID lights fitted then these will become nearly essential.
