Can anyone recommend the best possible product/additive for cleaning the inside of the reservoir, and outside whilst were on the subject?

I want to get them looking as clean as possible, as near new looking as you can get by cleaning alone really.

Cheers chaps.
Jim

Bath and bleach for a few days changing the water for hot and scrubbing it each time. Although The brake cleaner idea also sounds good.

The dishwasher in my workshop is now know as the 'parts washer'.
FYI don't put fairy liquid in the 'parts washer'

not tried a dishwasher but have used degreaser /brake cleaner on the outside and thick bleach on the inside...with a long brush on a wire

Lol, live this!

If things don't fit in the 'parts washer' a dissolved dishwasher tablet is amazing at cleaning all sorts of stuff

After I washed my rocker covers it smelt a bit oily and my mates suggested this.

I soaked my expansion bottle in ammonia (1 litre of neat ammonia in a bucket of water). Came out pretty good.

Not that expensive as you think

I've bought the double and the single one for the M3, need to dig the receipts out.
