the rear number plate lights-
got 2 new units today hella ones from euro parts
took the old out- but on one side, the tiny screw hole is missing, its nice and clean there, but looks like maybe the original screws rusted in years ago or something
so on the inside, of the left side light, i need to fix it, tried to gaffer tape a little screw thing that you use for speakers etc, to then screw a screw in to that, but tried n tried for ages and couldnt do it
any ideas ?

No, it's a universal part. It was just convenient to post the 318is page as I was looking for something else already.

Don't know if this helps but I tried taking a picture while farting about with my boot trim earlier.
I reckon it's the part at top left you need.

you need (14) the body nut was used on pre-face, the plastic expanding type (15) is used on facelift,
as it's a tech 1 sport it could well be rotten around the light area so fibregash may be required !
