£20 - £35. Probably a bit more if they're literally "mint".

Yeah punt em out at £50 each - you can always lower the price if you get no interest and £50 isnt taking the p1$$ for a good door.

On the contrary, just paid £30 for a very presentable coupe door. Fully loaded. If you lot want to throw your money away good luck to you .

If I needed a door and one came up in the right colour in perfect condition I wouldnt hesitate. If a passenger side door in straight black came up for sale in perfect condition id gladly give £100 for the very reason it would cost me at least £200 to have mine repaired to 'as new' condition.

At the end of the day it depends how nice you want your car 8)

A fool and his money are easily parted in other words. Haven't even seen a picture of Matt's doors so it's difficult to comment with any authority. I gave a ballpark figure and I'm sticking to it.

This is indeed the irony of the situation. If I was looking for a great condition Royal Blue door, I would almost guarantee that someone would have one in a paint shop making it Zinnobar Red etc, etc.

I wish I had a black door for sale. You'd be my first port of call.

You can afford to find me one if they are to be had for £30, I told you I will pay £100, nice earner winkeye

I imagine you're the type that would be going over it with an Electron Microscope so I wont be accepting your challenge.

I can get you a door for £30 though and you know it. Why are you arguing the toss?

How do you define "decent"? I'd imagine part of that definition might include no rust. We've already been told that one of the doors has rust.

Would you still pay £100 for it? Thought not.

Thats the point. Sh1t doors with chips, rust, dents can be had for next to nothing. A good one in the right colour which doesnt have chips rust or dents is worth paying for.

Break it down - an electric window mech is £10 - £15 all day long, Door glass at least £10 - theres half of your min £50 purchase price straight away !!!

Look at the price of wings - a new genuine wing from BMW is £160+ thats for a simple pressed panel - so fook knows how much a bare door shell would be.

I'd pay £100 for a mint, rust and dent free door all day long.

How much would you pay for one with faded paintwork? How about one with a few scratches?

We haven't seen the door in question. Well I haven't.

I gave a rough average.

Price up the cost of painting a door. That will give you an idea of what a perfect one in the right colour is worth.

Not many perfect ones left

Something with scratches or poor paint £25-£30, anything with grot, keep it :)

I recently bought 2 brilliant red doors of a well know fragger for £40 both with glass and window mech in the drivers door which has minor rust on bottom corner with very good paint, only changed 1 yet can't be asked to do the other.

Don't think id have paid much more than that being a tight git an all!!

my take is they are all rusty, the killers being the bottom seam and the very top edge where the rubber seal is. These are killer spots that render them scrap.

A new door when i was pricing them on my 2dr 3 years ago where around £325 plus VAT from BMW, pattern panels just dont fit we know that. Given how 2drs are now possibly the rarest shape of e30 left i'd say people aren't realising the days of finding mint panels in the correct colour are long gone.

Getting a door blown in is going the cost around £100 these days? thats what the last one cost me not long ago for a decent job inside and out as the door was the wrong colour.

Funny this, I have two pairs of very good but not perfect door shell's and no one want's them, even at £15.00 each.
They're too good to weigh in so they're hanging in the shed.
Perhaps it's where we are. near to nothing!

Keep them in the shed for a few years, then you can cash in :D
