Hi, im in the process of buying some minty hartge alloys. Thought yesterday after reading ravs new thread, would these look good on my tech 2 sport?? Seems to me there are a few people running hartge alloys but only on prefacelift (chromies)
So i done a google image search aswell as on here and found only a few images of these on tech 2`s. So that got my brain thinking even more... Do these actually suit or look good on tech 2`s??? I love these rims and will buy them even if i just fit them for while and store them up. Really would like peoples opinions on this matter? Maybe im being daft but maybe not! Pics on tech 2`s also appreciated?
Thanks people.
Adam

These wheels would look good on any E30. I"m putting a set on my Tech II Sport when it's done.

IMO there are only 3 wheel choices that look "right" on E30's, some others do look good (Borbet A or B, Dished BBS, amongst a few) but these below in this order are my personal favourites:
1. Hartge 16's on any E30
2. BBS 15" Standard Rims on any E30
3. MiM 1900's on pre face cars
but you can never own too many wheels

A 30k miler Lagoon Green 325i 'vert on staggered genuine Alpinas was one of the most gorgeous cars I nearly bought. Shame £8k seemed extortionate at the time...

Hartge alloys do look good on any E30. Lots of pain finding your favourite wheels, even fitting a couple of sets that don't quite 'work', is worth it in the end...

but them ^^^^ Ronals look right too!!
For me there is something i dont like about Hartge stuff, think its the blue badge colours that put me off they just seem too old fashioned!
my list are BBS RS, Schnitzer type 1 and ^^^^^ those! (lucky i have two of the three!)

I almost agree but i was thinking :
1 Hartge
2 BBS 15
3 5 spoke Motorsports (i dont know why - they look ace on black e30s)
16" alpinas are good and probably fetch my number 4 spot.

The problem with alpinas is the copies I know if you know your stuff the originals are easy to spot but all the copies make them common

They are probably the feeblest of the replica alloys: Wrong diameter, wrong dish and... wrong number of spokes!
