i am allways sorry to hear of fellow zoners problems in car parks, only last week some poor lad had his bonnet and wing keyed in a big way, and i noticed it was commented that this was a british thing, well heres my story, last week i went to a local club to watch a rugby game in my cabby, after a few too many beers i decided to call a taxi, being sensible and all! so i left my cab in the car park. so what did i find the next day when i picked it up....... some w@&ker has hit my cab behind the door and wheel arch, even worse i could see they had rubbed it with their hand cause the dust was wiped off. So not just a british thing it happens everywhere, oh well looks like the planned respray is now going to happen.
just real pi55ed off now cause its convertable season here and didn't want to paint the cab till summer. what to do....

Isnt convertible season the summer anyway? It looks nasty mate. This is why i always look for a nice car to park next to in car parks. Chances are if their car is as nice as yours or even nicer they will be a lot more careful. My Polo is full of little lines on the side from muppets flinging their door open and hitting my car, but nothing you can do. Saying that if the car park had CCTV, you could always ask to see it

yeah let hope the car park has CCTV, report it to police and he will get screwed, he should have left his details.
So in thoery he drove off at scene of an accident .
The fucker who done this needs to be put in car park and have ur car door opened in his nuts.

Not when it's
that hot!
You must be gutted...

I'm afraid to leave my car anywhere these days! Still, at least you've got another nice motah to cruise around in, & think how good it'll look when the respray's done
Also think about the fact that there's a small, very unpleasant area of hell reserved for murderers, rapists and people who fcuk with other people's cars...

I bought a new E46 touring in 2001. On the 4th day of ownership I had to park in a Hospital car park. When finished in Hospital went back to car got in and drove home (as you do). When I got home the wife was standing at the front door. she said to me "what is that mark on the car". Some cretin obviously did not know the size of their car, they left a nice present on the near side front and rears doors.
Now when I park any car I am on cretin alert.

yeah convertable season is reverse here in the middle east, summer get above 50 but now till may it will be a pleasant 20-25C so that meens roof down. foirtunately car crime here is quite low so last yaer the roof stayed down for a record 4 months!! interior gets a bit dusty but i carry a sheet with me and trap it in the boot and front doors so it keeps dust and cats out.
the police here dont give a fcuk about car accidents unless someone is injured or drunk (as i found out once!!

) so its donwn to me and my pocket to get it fixed. gonna take out the interior panels this afternoon and see if i can push it out a bit, i cant remenber if there is an interior skin in there.
i think i may key c car tonight so when i die i goto hell, then i will find the little tw@ts who hit my car and alll of yours and give them a proper fistin!!

Ive dented someones door in a car park before.... but with reason.
Was sitting in my dads car waiting for him to come out of the shop, when a car parks next to us. Next thing I hear is a bang as one of the kids in the back smacks the door open into the side of our car. I then leant out of the window and said 'do you mind mate', to which he said kids will be kids and its only an old car. Then the next kid getting out did exactly the same and the dad just laughed and walked off!
So I just got out and gave his nice new merc a restyled door, and yes I felt much happier about it

i always try to park at a corner, so you can only park one car next to mine, not either side. i also never park next to forward parked cars. they have to be reverse parked, and never park next to shitters. so that makes it quite difficult to find a space. when i go shopping i take my neice along so i can park in parent and child bay. alot of drivers cant park and if they do hit your car i'd say 95% would run off.

as for the F1 track it is good but really designed for F1 only, the straights are too long. I drive Catherhams for a company who take people out on corporate track days and things like that, but we use the short inside circuit thats good fun, and i have been promised a drive in a Holden which ran in last years Aussie touring car season, 5.7V8
Living here is good, gets a bit hot in summer (50-54C!) but now till may its really nice. People are friendly in general. I left UK in 1997 and never looked back mate. I would suggest you get yourself to Dubai for a week it will give you an idea what the place is like. If ouy want to know anymore let me know.
