The idea is good, but thats looks wrong... Too flat on either side. If it had the gutter trim running along it would break it up a little... And if it wasn't Matt black too...

To do it right I think it would need the door pillar moving back and use a 2 door front door. Break the side up a bit.

Also it's not been professionally converted at all. Both sides look like loafs of bread.

Looks like he made the side panels in a mixer

With a decent paintjob, this could make a good promotional delivery van for an E30 specialist.

I'm inclinded to agree with Dezzy, but using the longer doors would rob some carrying space....

Or it could make a base for a camper van conversion, lift up roof added?

what it needs is crushing. £2800 for this is junk is pretty strong.

Or you could just buy a Touring, weld up the rear doors, paint the windows and save a pile of cash.

If you wanted an e30 touring as a van, as tacky and untasteful as it is you'd be better off tinting the rear windows black/mirrored and remove the rear seats 8O
Then again a 2.5 petrol isn't really considered van material!

"Barking" obviously means a whole lot more to this guy than just somewhere to live:-

With the right graphics it would make a great alternative to a normal van for my detailing business. Not going to miss an E30 Estate/ Van in a high Gloss black with Chrome Graphics on it. Make me Stand Out a Mile away which is the whole idea. hmmmmm. tempting.

I like the A-Team stripe :D

I don't think it looks like a Range Rover. But then, neither do Range Rovers these days.

I would completely recommend that someone with a detailing business buys it, gives it a high-gloss black paint job and adds chrome lettering to use as their business van. (Yay, someone with vision!)

Says £2800, but open to offers...

Justin

PS People who don't like it are excused from buying it.

ask your friend how much it cost to insure with it being modified an all or was he flying under the radar with that?

If they were making that much of a mess, they could've at least attached the rear lights to the tailgate so you can put wider items in the back a bit easier!! Lol!!
