My carpet in my 2.5 cabs is ripped so I'm going to replace it.But someone on here mentioned that they are different, what are the differences, because I don't want to end up with rhe wrong carpet,I honestly thought they were exactly the same throughout the range?
Many thanks

Cabbie's have slightly narrower footwells and somewhat deeper sills, making saloon carpets unsuitable.
You will need a cabbie specific carpet, engine size of the doner is imaterial.
I think that Jim320 is breaking a cabbie at the moment, not too far from you at Leicester.
Or try ceccoto479,he seems to break cabbies for a living!

4 pot carpets are like a budget affair, nylon loop type finish. They don't weigh as much either

Yes, all 318iS's had the loop pile carpet.
316i and 318i Lux saloons had the better cut pile carpet though.
