How much is it possible to get into a 1990 325i tank?
Have had the fuel light on before now and only managed to squeeze Ԛ£42 pounds or so in.......
So last night we went out for a meal about 20 miles away, tank not on empty but I thought maybe I better put some petrol in just to be safe.......
Almost Ԛ£47 pounds later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did have the details on the recipt but can't find it

Have you considered the *crazy* idea that the fuel might have been cheaper?

My 323i tank is 55 litres. I think the M3 has a bit more.
Not helpful but that is all I know.

Most I've ever squeezed into the Touring was 56ltr. The light hadn't come on either!

My car seems to have a massive amount of fuel in it when the gauge is in the red.
The other day I kept driving about with the gauge off the red by a good amount and the light was on, I kept pushing my luck until I thought I wouldn't get away with it anymore and stuck Ԛ£17.
Reset the trip counter and the gauge showed just above the red.
If I brim the tank the gauge reads full. It's great when people try and cadge a lift, you know the type, the ones that always need a lift and a smoke and a "Can I use your phone, I've got no credit"
Sorry, the gauge is on the red
