I was made aware of a mod that can be made up to replace the bush thats in the middle of the steering link set up, when the original becomes old and tired as mine had , as the steering feels a lil vague from time to time, and was wondering if anyone on here made them or knew where i can get the aluminium/stainless steel mod from?

No need for a 'mod' on a standard steering system. BMW supply a repair rubber disc and bolts to refurb your old one, which will more than likely outlast your car.

There was a group buy for these some years back,now,so you are on your own to make one up!

The measurements that you need are the centres for the mounts either side of the rubber guibo,a centre hole,and the exact thickness of the rubber guibo.You will also need from your BMW dealer the correct,shouldered bolts to hold it all together.Sorry,I do not know the measurements needed.

If your steering is vague and rubbery,this bit needs replacing sooner,rather than later..

Ok ill get the part number for the rubbery bit and change it out, cheers for the tip off
