This may help fella,

Its a 16x9 ET -15ish so a similar amount of 'poke' to your 10j -9.

Your gonna need to flare the arches, maybe even weld new ones on! Not just a case of rolling the lip with them wheels! I've got 10j rears and had my arches flared and it still rubs on a 40mm drop! Lucky for me it ain't a daily
ask dips I'm sure he will be able to sort them out, he's a sound guy aswel!

None yet, not had them on the car properly yet. Going to run 205/40s and hopefully with the natural camber it will clear the arch with only a roll of the arches... Hopefully...

hey fellers im just about to finish my e30, i have bmw mini steels and there 10j rear and 9j fronts.
i have just flared my arches and uploaded some pictures, i havent had chance to run my car with them on yet as my suspension setup is crap. hopefully this weekend coming im going to get the new springs needed to go with my bilsteins to make the setup right.
im running 195/50 on the 10j's and 195/45/ on the 9 and there a nice stretch !
i dont know the et but i will look on the steelie itself and update

So did they fit in there nicley or are there clearamce issues. They look mental, decided to give up saving for some deep dish`s that will get curbed and look crap, and go with the steelies!! I dont really want to play with the arches so what width do you reckon?

I've had steels on mine 9.5j on the rear only down side I thought is they weigh fort knocks when the tyre is on compared to alloy

Not really worried about weight...for now. What suspension set up did you have? Mine is standard, thinking about lowering springs but will wait to see what happens with steelies. Planning on the stretched look too, so should help with arch clearance??

They look tight!! why did you let the e30 go, it was a good example sporting some decent upgrades.

What's a typical banded steelie weigh in at? Assuming 9Jx15 or something similiar.

so found some cheap steelies down the road from, thrown in for a tenner on top with the exhaust, but they are 14inch jobbies.
So, am I ok to use these or do they need to be 15inch min?
Cheers
