Very cool car but I would miss the sound of a petrol engine.

He would have needed a few quid to build that!
But great car and a great link to those who brag about horsepower versus torque. Elec motors produce maximum torque from nil to full power, hence why it blows most cars away, if he could master a basic traction control it would be silly fast!

The "traction control" is already adopted )

Fortunately, yes, but everyone who has the bucks for a new bimmer could have done this (money wise). But there is a lot more behind it...

Genius
it's just amazing that some voltage will wipe out a combustion engine,i'd hate to foot the bill though

Would happily do without the 6 pot noise to wipe the smile of some tw#ts face in a porsch at a set of traffic lights

Government should do this to all the cars they have parked up from the scrappage scam because the worst thing about an electric car is the fact it looks like an electric car. Failing that we might have to start electrocuting our E30s.
I wonder what the mpg equivalent is

I was wondering this myself as it goes....
To the owner- when used enthusiastically like in the video's how long can it run per charge ect?? I'm intrigued now lol

I bet if ran like that not very long!!!! Must be some power discharged into the motor which will drain the battery significantly, but even if it runs 100km of normal use, not many do that in a city car. Plus it's full of fuel every morning!
Love the traction control.... Great engineering work around!!
