Warning To Anyone Thats Might Go Have A Look At This

hello
posting this so no one get riped off that might go and see it?
just thought i would post this on here there is a guy selling a e30 convertible and it is totaly fucked (excause my french) i traveled all the way down to birmingham to go see it from scotland it took me 6 hours to get there and the guy told me it was in top condition,
anyway i was there ten mins and found
the head gasket was gone
brust rad
massive idel problem (had the throttle body open so was idleing at 2000rpm when i adjusted it down cut out and would not start)
bits of what looked like metal flacks in the oil on the dipstick
lots of badly filled holes on sills and arches
clutch very high and on it way out
and all tyres humped
and it had 12 months mot????????????
sorry if this offends anyone but i dont want anyone to go thourgh all that , that i have just went thourgh
and i realy pisses me off that people can be like that and try and bump you

Fair play pal. Thats good to know whether it be a zoners car or not. Just shows some of the lengths people will go to try and rip someone off, Knowing you travelled all that way just goes to show you what sort of pricks they are

unfortubately this is not unusual when trying to buy e30's really very few decent ones left now. They seem to be in inverse proportion to the number of liars in the world. More good convertibles than anything else though.

Ebay/Pistonheads/Gumtree or wherever you originally "found" what you thought was a good enough car to travel from Scotland to Brum to buy?

On a more serious note , there is nothing worse than traveling for hours to find out the mint car is so bad it only destination is the weigh bridge. I am just starting to look for a newer Alpina and I am having to interigate the owners over the phone to make sure I'm not waisting a big journey and a heap of cash on public transport.
