Hi guys, before i let this go really cheap roughly how much would you reckon one of these are, i have cross referenced it on real oem and comes up as sport gear box so assuming it is the close ratio box, any ideas??????

i have a 320i g/box with the same ratio's as a sport one i can't shift

only 1st and 2nd. a genuine sport box will be stronger than a 320i box too

Mines going nowhere for less then £150, general going rate for a proper 325i Sport box.

I think 150 quid for a sport box is top dollar. I'd be wanting evidence of it being reconditioned for that money.

ok, so that gives me a rough idea, i dont suppose this would bolt up to the m42 that i'm re-building for my conversion to get shot of the dreaded m40 currently in it???

Well, the SportBox bolts up to the M20, as does the 260. And the 260 bolts up to an M50, as does the 240 from the M42, then all things being equal, the SportBox would bolt up to the M42.

Wanna sell it??

As it would be many other peoples, mine might just go on the hord stack since it is nice and smoooooth
