MY SPORTS BEEN STOLEN!!!

I just found out my sports been stolen.
Its a black 325i sport tec 2 - reg F68 FKN
I informed cops and insurance and hoping that if somone by any chance is offered it for sale or any black tec 2 bits cheap or any suspicion please let me know.
Im fckng gutted, i had finally found a front wing off zone which 'ant' has sent out by courier to reach me by tuesday, then it would have been perfect.
it was a genuine 103k 1 family owned sport .since october 2010 i have spent loads on getting it all back to mint, sorted out all rust ,all panels doors, bonnet, boot bought off zone and cam belt change, all service, dizzy cap, rotor arm everything was mint and some absolute son of a bitch has taken it !!
The fckrs left no trace of broken glass or anything just no trace. No one heard or seen a thing !
its along shot but if anyone does see it or offered anything cheap or which seems suspicious please let me know .
Thanks

Could you put up a photo of interior and exterior for us. Also are there any distinguishing marks on any part of the interior?
Very sad to hear it after all the work you've put into the car. Stickied.

Thanks
whats sticky ??
I have pics but they on phone and unsure how to get them on and right now i cant think straight.
Its just a standard sport tec 2 black.
Interior was a sports leather set I bought off rocky off this forum , and was mint. I used gliptone and it came out perefct so no real distinguishing features.
The outside again was just standard tec2 . It did have an exhaust which was off anormal 325i the ones with the angled tips, i got that off bmw mad just for time being and I had done deal with eternity to take his stainless steel back box .. fckin gutted.
It had a pioneer cassette deck in it, and only thing inside i can say was out of ordinary was that the gear knob would come off in your hand if you were not careful, was broken again i was going to get one off adit !
What was differnt is that the front 2 windows were adarker tint than the back. I bought 2 doors off bmw breaker in birmingham again i think it was bmw mad on here, and the glass were a darker shade than the back , and they had teh reg number of the care they came off. E reg it was thats all i remember. I was going to chnage the glass as i have still got the originals off the original doors , put the wing on which is due here on tuesday and get it all polished up and buffed so for weekedn it would have been just perfect !
fcking gutted cant believ it was so near completion and some cant decided to take it and no doubt screw the sh1t out of it and then take it to pieces!
Our area does not have a high crime rate, especially not car theft. I remember i left my car in local petrol pump with keys in it few years ago and guy knew me, drove car to my street and posted keys through letter box !!! so defo some bast@rd has had his eye on it .. no way it was just some local no way
sorry to go on but i just cant believe it and hopefully someone may see it off here

Fook, not another one.
What is it, I know these cars have a high profile, and also TG has helped get it up there too.
OP, was it not alarmed or imobilliesd????

I just had cops round . They reckon they know who has it but since I last seen it on Thurdsay morning it's been used as getaway car in 2 local burgalaries!!!!!!!
Absolute c(_)nts!!!!!
Scally ba$tards !
Even more pi$$ed off now ! The c(_)nt didn't even have decency to strip it of it's parts but instead using it for crime !!!!
I actually don't want it back now just won't be same knowing little ba$tards been rallying it around and will be full of crap!
And answer to rav question , I'm afraid it didn't have alarm or immobiliser , that was one of the jobs I had to do obviously now thinking about it , that should have been the first thing I done but honestly never imagined it be taken .
Anyway I will keep posted see what happens and what condition it comes back to me in .

Looks like someone new the car was not belled up.Did you take the car to have any work done on her ie garage etc.You never know who's working on your car (maybe one of the burgalars)

Its good news the police think they know who has it, if thats the case then I would be onto them to get it back as soon as possible. Like Adi said, do the work and you'll be glad you did... Hopefully its not damaged either... Fingers crossed.

That has to be the most annoying thing, thats its been in the family, and low owners etc etc...
Even though its been taken, you should still see if you can get it back, it may not be in that much of a bad state as you may think...
hope you get it back in one piece, feel your pain mate...
good luck

+1 and the car may now be recorded as stolen
We should create a thread informing owners to be aware of this happening and considering a disc lock or alarm?

sorry to hear about your bad news I can't begin to imagine how you feel
I think if my sport got stolen I'd take the week of work and spend it in the local pub
thankfully my mums e46 blocks mine in at night, and thats hard to steal.
She keeps on asking why my old car stays on the drive and her nice newish e46 320i sport is kept on the road lol

If someone knows where you car is and knows its got a disc lock, its only a matter of bringing an appropriate replacement steering wheel and there you have it, your car is gone.
Kill switch is the only way.

Just ahad a call from police, they have found the car!!!1
csi are with it at moment and from the converstaion I had with teh forensic girl, they just popped teh drivers side door lock out and then hot wired it.
According to the police, only visible damage is door lock and ignition area.
They not got the guy who they think have but he has left a load of stuff in it including :
SCREW DRIVERS, CROW BAR,2 PAIRS OF GLOVES,STELLA CANS ???, ADIDAS TRACKSUIT TOP, 3 PETROL CANS,A CAP,A BOBBLE HAT,STEREO WHICH HE HAS OBVIOULSY NICKED IN BOOT AND SOME K REG PLATES??
Copper pretty confident they will have the scroat quite quick.
Im hoping the above is the only damage, that way I dont have to claim through insurance and it saves the car being recorded as 'stolen recovered'.
Just waiting now for them to give me go ahead so I can pick it up from compound.
Fingers crossed it will still be running right and they havent screwed the nuts off it .
First job now, is to get alarm and immobiliser.
Would like to get one of them security systems which they have made legal in south africa, which will electrocute the thieving sons of bitches to death if they try to break in !!!
Thanks for all the kind words, it actually did help me through it, not to sound g@y but it does actually help having people who genuinley can understand the loss.

My old man said I should have taken the rotor arm off??
But kill switch, immobiliser, alarm everythings going to be considered now

On the positive side,at least you can get it back, all be with the feeling of it being a bit defiled!
Better than it be stolen by a 13 year old for a ten minute spin around the local sink estate before being torched.

Bloody hell you are lucky it wasn't torched!! Lucky to have found it at all- breath a sigh of relief when it's in your hands again.
If someone wants your car, they will have it. Fancy alarms and gimmicks won't help much to someone who knows what they are doing. Hidden fuel bypass switch will stop drivability but not towing!! Sirens going off will put off chancers.
Arseholes who do this make me very angry.
Shame we cannot have the same rules as in Jo'berg eh!! But at least we don't have the crime rate to match either!!

Glad to read you got it back. Must be a horrible feeling to see an empty space where you car was.
Someone I know got an astra starmist stolen numerous times. One of the times it was stolen and found by the police who contacted her to say it had been found and that it was now her responsibility. As she happened to be reporting the traffic from a control center in Sheffield on local radio, she zoomed in on a burning car on 'the manor' to see that it was hers. Cheers police, nice one.

Yeah it's back with me now . Was filthy inside .. Joint ash everywhere , rizlas all over place .. Damage was quite mild considering . Door lock and ignition damage .. And bizzarly lots of sugar all over seats and inside ??? Gave it a good clean now , and got time
Being just taken the steering wheel off , whilst I get the bits to mend it right.
Got to be honest , was well impressed with the police . Were veryhelpful sympathetic and they did find it quite quick !
Anyway it's back now , just MORE work to do on it now !!
