I have the SPAX PSX kit (adj shocks & uprated, lowered springs) on may car, on the road I run them at setting 14 (half way on the new kit, old kit used to have 14 settings new one has 28 ). This is a bit hard for normal driving (CD's jump going over bumps) but when you push it they are f*cking excellent! :D

In saying that I also uprated all the bushes and added front & rear strut braces. All in they make the car feel totally different - much, much better.

I've had her on a track too, but the mid settings are too soft for fast cornering (could still lift the inside wheels). But I've never tried drifting (not a car anyway). winkeye

Don't get too excited now Dee, we don't want any 'accidents' :wan:

Save that for when they're fitted - you're gonna love 'em!

Make sure and let us know how you get on with them.

Once they're on, if you get a chance to play with the settings let me know how you get on... I reckon less than 7 clicks would be too soft for hard driving, probably somewhere between 10-14 for fast road driving and 21-28 for track use, but need more chance to try myself (sh*t, ain't getting much time to play with her just now :( )

Got them on my M3, drives like on rails with very controlable oversteer, LSD helps. Looking forward to track day in south Wales 29th Oct, let you know how I go on, wet or dry. Last time in the wet at cadwell park I spun my 328i down the centre of the track at 80 coming out of a corner.

Eh!? 8O :wtf:

Nah, sorry mate. Spax have been around for years, won many rallies, sworn by many a clubman racer. I know racers who swear by them. Also, I bought mine via my cousin who is a motor factor - has been in the trade for over 25 years and he reckons they're as good as any, never had any bother, never had any returns.

All I can reckon is that the trader in question doesn't sell Spax (or doesn't make enough profit on them) and is trying to flog something else instead, something with a nice juicy 40% markup!!!!
