That is unreal : The inner gaurd complete with strut has been ripped clean off, and the engine and gearbox have separated 8O

i wonder if he did walk away thats very nasty even the steering coloum was out wonder if that was cut out to get the driver out

Slightly poor performing rear brakes isn't the most likely of reasons. Driving like a c**K is more likely.

We'll never know, he may well have been driving like a c**k, but I'd say those drum brakes were more than likely instrumental in its demise I remember emergency stops in my 320 were somewhat of a lottery but it looked ace

One of the top guys in PBMWC still uses drums and is generally in the top 3, so they obviously can work well when adjusted properly.

depends how many sideways ..but you're right magpie.

It doesn't surprise me, it's a lighter setup & I like to think the rears on a lap won't come close to locking up!

Anyhow a track prepped 320 isn't comparable, to a shed with an m50 superglued in.. I think the emphasis is on the fact that they won't have been set up so well.. Discs for the road please
