£70 odd quid at the dealers in about 2003 or so IIRC. As I say, just an AutoArt 1/18 in a BMW box. You'll pick them up on eBay every now and then.

if you have deep pockets this is the most sought after auto art version
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AUTOart-1-18-BMW- ... 20b676c6db
the auto art ones have greater detail than the minichamp version usually the red standard m3 or cecotto edition can be found for about £70 but ive just searched and cant find one

I've got a few in a box somewhere in the loft. They used to give them out on BMW apprentice training courses at Bracknell. That and shit loads of bmw branded parker pens and propelling pencils! (I ate all the glacier mints!

Isn't AutoArt the same company as Minichamps?

I picked up a blue Minichamps 1/18 a couple years back for £10. Cheap as the grille kept falling out. So a spot of glue and it was OK. Also the paint match isn't great between body and boot lid. Got it to try and make a rep of my car. Got some LMs from a M/C 996 GT3RSR model (also "damaged" and was £10 from the same dealer) But I lost interest.

Cack ain't it!
My AutoArt Sport Evo is much better. Black top left.

I've heard about those books. There £££. I also have a E24 Autoart M635csi. Models from the dealers not that deer. I bought a Kyosho Audi R8 from the Audi dealer for £45.
Current ones available from the dealer.

Do you guys push them around the Living room floor and make S14 noises?
seriously, the attention to detail on these is fantastic, the red cecotto looks great

The bonnet even opens like the real thing.

Why'd you want to make thrashy four cylinder noises? The remote control E30 cab can be driven around the floor.

Correctly shaped blue triangle with the properly positioned retaining straps in the boot of the M635:-

How dare you
I tell you what I have got, a very rare Pendolino that was made for Virgin for the launch of the release date, a few were signed by Sir Richard himself.
I think Hornby/Dalpol have now taken over production and the very first ones command big money, which I have
I think that's more up your street Paul, with all them doors

there's no way the car in the 1st post is a reboxed autoart, it's a nice model but the proportions / heels are a little bit out.
i have a red autoart sport evo and it's stunning, pretty much a perfect replica in 1/18 scale

I was wrong. I looked at mine. It'a Minichamps. The M635 is an Autoart.

It's an awesome book, published in 2002 to mark the 30th anniversary of the M division. It was on its own stand in the local dealer's. I asked if I could buy it and *eventually* they gave me, not the one on the stand, but a brand new unopened one and stand that they had received for another branch, but never installed. I had to get rid of the stand when I moved house as it was pretty big and my office is only small. I was told that they weren't for public sale and they were only available - one each - for the dealers. That may be bollocks, I don't know, but that's what I've been told and I've never seen another, not that I've really been looking. They might be all over eBay, but it's beautifully printed and has some fabulous photos - unlike these crap ones
i have exactly the same book in German language. Actually this book was avaliable through the dealers , but i guess it wasn't widely offered to the public. Thanks to Markus (mr. BBS), he bought it for me from some german dealer ~2 years ago. Wish to change the book to the english version, though)
