My Flatmates E30

My flatmate has an E30 and he is worryingly obsesed with it. In my opinion (and it is just my opinion) the E30 is a piece of shit. It drives like a tank and sounds like two skeletons having sex on a tin roof. I think he should trade it in and get something more practical. Does anyone have any ideas what he could get? when i have been out with him i have noticed him looking at Ford Ka's. i think he secretly likes them. Lets be honest, its a much better car after all.
Please Discuss

i predict a roit!!!!!!!!
if your flatmate likes the E30 but feels it's a bit dated, maybe the E36 would be more suitable. if he wants a fatter, heavier, less responsive, less rewarding car that is! as for the ford ka... well...

i'm not sure if he thinks it is dated, but i certainly do. I have to endure the embarrasment of knowing it is parked outside our flat. i think its lowering the value of the property.
Whats wrong with a Ford Ka? I've driven his E30 and the Ford Ka is a damn nicer drive.

i feel everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Surely if everyone agreed wih every thread that was put here it would get boring. Try and experience a different opinion sometimes. just because a few people agreed with Hitler, it didn't mean he was right

see, thats what i'm saying, someone disagree's with an E30 drivers opinion and he's accused of being a w**ker. that would imply that the E30 is the best car in the world and i can't believe that any of you are narrow minded enough to believe that there are no better cars out there.
So how'd you like dem apples?

Oh darling it sounds tragic. My advice: ditch him and find yourself a nice Micra driving queen.

No its not implying that the E30 is the best car in the world, its implying that its much better than a ford Ka.
Tell us all what car do you own?

i think we can all guess which car i drive.
How can you define better? there are many things a ford Ka can do better than an E30. consume fuel economically, hold its value, appeal to a mass market.
If its such an awesome car then why did BMW make the decision to stop production?
any idea?

No, but you can't spell and that is a mortal sin for which you will be burnt at the stake by illegal immigrants. (who probably wouldn't drive Ka's either)

ouch below the belt. don't bring the imigrants into this. They all probably drive Top of the range cars paid for by the taxpayer, but lets not dwell on that

TROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLL ALERT.
just to add to the debate im gonna join in this bit of fun.
theres good e30's and bad e30's
a shed of a phase one 318i, tapping its tits off, all rusty and dented, with ripped seats and a council bodykit is never gonna be a better car than a Ford Ka.
But a nice condition 325i sport is gonna wipe the floor with the Ka in almost every department.

Well its clear that anyone who even looks into the the purchase of a Ford Ka isnt buying it for the Driving experience! Thats what BMWs are all about.
I didnt buy a BMW for its fuel efficiency!

Lol, so true. I was indeed on the verge of going to do something more intelectually constuctive than this. But i shall be back. after all, i am constantly being reminded of the E30 everytime i walk past the ageing wreck outside my flat.
I'll continue this gripping two sided debate later.....

No, no dear. You're only gay because you wear patent shoes and listen to Mariah Carey. Disliking the E30 only makes you lower class. In fact I bet you buy Tesco branded champagne? Faux fur cushions in contrasting pastel colours? Read 'HEAT' on the way to work with your legs crossed on the train with your media specs and cross-over strap bag? (God, now I'm describing MY flatmate)
come on, own up, we're all friends together.(mostly with our E30's - although we're secretly jelous of your quickclear windscren[unless you have a REALLY gay Ka1])
