I am having the usual daft problems with Western Australian prices for BMW parts . Bosche brake pads on the net $67.00 delivered, the local dealer wanted over $200.00. I bought online as usual and the parts were perfect and arrived 3 days later. I now need a power steering rack for an 84 323i. I have been quoted $350.00 for a second hand one with no guarantee that it wont leak the moment it is bolted in place. Is there a good International supplier of such things. Pelican parts are good, but Left hand drive.

why don't you just get an exchange rack i am sure Fulcrum suspension do them and also Driveline i am not sure if they are in WA but it is better to replce it with a new one rater than a second hand one you will more than likely by what you arleady have or something that will leak shortly after you fit it might be worth checking that out.

Good luck let me know what you can find

Freight will be the killer for something as large and heavy as a PS rack from overseas.
I would be scouring for a later model one locally...or go reconditioned as above.
A friend of mine breaks E30s and he is a BMW Technician so knows his stuff. Give Matt a try at:
www.bmwreck.com

Freight within in Australia is very competitive through www.e-go.com.au

I think Fritz Bits and FAB Direct will export stuff. Australia, although the arse end of the (Cricket) world, it's not Afghanistan.
