Ok... First step... Anti freeze... Second step... Done.
On going fault and its always the same answer, with the cold weather we are having, people do not think they need more anti freeze.

quite a few folk have had frozen pipes so might be worth checking your coolant (& anti freeze)
but reading your post it look's like you have had no heat for a while?
are you getting any reading on the temp-gauge?

the heater fan is not working at all, its not the pipes/anit freeze as i got the car about july time, all i can tell u is when driving about 70mph with all the heater exits open and andas far hot as u can go a tiny bit of heat will come out, if that helps

Hmm, not your anti freeze then... Heater matrix packed up? Not sure how you test it independantly, but might be worth a search on the zone for previous faults like yours as i'm sure I seen someone give a guide on how to test it.

assuming this fault didnt appear immediatly after fitting a stereo
then open bonnet
and remove the panel on the bulkhead 8mm or 10mm plastic nuts
once open youll see how to remove the motor etc
pull it out clean it up and regrease if ya can and replug in, if it works youll get thru winter
if not test wires and fix and or replace fan

no need to take the unit out, well, i just about had enough room to oil the motor bearing with it still in the car.

You will not make a successful long term repair, getting the motor back to its original performance without removing the motor.

I replaced the blower motor on my sport, fiddly but an easy job, chris warburton can probably sort you out

Nine times out of ten there's nothing wrong with the motor that a good unseizing and lubricating session won't sort out, but you can't do it properly without taking the motor out and powering it up in your hand. You need gravity to assist getting the oil in where it's needed.
