E30 Zone

there i was sat at a red light when a guy in a (mauve?) E36 M3 stop's along side me, get's my attention & i put down my window to hear him shout over "f*kin nice motor mate, is that a E30 model?" and gave me thee ole thumbs up

i was kinda speechless and just say's, yeah it is... cheers mate



if i'd have thought quickly enough i'd have probably say's "fancy a swap"

still though it's always nice to hear folk appreciate the older BM's

That must have felt good. I once had some young lad come over and say thats a well nice car you got while parked up in the city centre... Felt the dogs danglies all the way home.

Nothing beats a stranger telling you how cool your car is.

TBH.. ive had many compliments on my car but never had another (newer) BM owner do it in such a way
as he pulled away in his rather nice M3 i thought to my self "and you think my car is nice!"

I must admit I never got attention in the sport but whilst out in the M3 I got a guy in a Ferrari giving me compliments whilst in traffic, also a guy in a Lotus Elise jobbie giving me the thumbs up.

My mrs was embarrassed and was asking why
