Good man Steve. Is this the one that was on eBay and had been converted from manual to auto?? 8O

Someone should have a good knowledge, just don't waste your time asking Bird's. You'd be better-off going straight to Hartge.de. I can't remember the lad's name over there, I'll keep wracking my brain on that one, but he's certainly more approachable/forthcoming than Bird's.

Good luck with the car - keep us posted. :D

Did you buy that from a guy in N.Ireland? It was sold on ebay about 2 years ago, I considered buying it but decided against it. It might even be the same car that was also for sale in 2006 - again, I briefly contemplated buying it but the owning it but the owner said the LSD and dogleg box were AWOL.

it came from Dublin earlier this year it could very well be be the same car ?
I haven't checked the LSD yet and never thought about it having a dogleg box,
I have another H23 that will be a donor for the build :)

Will make a lovely car, I look forward to seeing your progress.

IIRC it had aircon originally, but the system was partially removed. That's if it is indeed the car that was for sale in Essex in 2006. I'm certain it's the same car which was sold 2 years ago, although it looks a bit cleaner now!

I'm sure the one on eBay had been converted to auto because of a problem with the dog-leg box (and, I presume, inability to source a replacement).
Can't remember what, if anything, was in the listing about the LSD though.

I'm getting old - I could be remembering it wrong. It was possibly just a common-or-garden 323i I saw.

I fit Tyres to an early A reg alpina 2.5 about 6 months ago. Still had the original spare that was 195,50x16. Funny this is that this size hasn't been used on anything really until the new Clio in 2008.

I think they look better with the old type boot spoiler and just he front spoiler, no rear skirt or side skirts. Fingers crossed the unseen donor turd has the earlier spoiler fitted.
