E30 Zone

My oil pressure switch is leaking oil on my 88' 325i. Simply job I thought to replace! got another one from GSF but goes on for first few threads then no further - don't want to force it. Took it back and ordered one from the dealers, its arrived but has the wrong connector! comes with a metal (male) connector but the one I need is black plug type. BMW say the one they've ordered is the only one listed.

Which should my car have and could I ask BMW to look at a different model which would have the one I need.

88 is on the change over from pre face lift to face lift so you need the later type off an 89 car
