E30 Zone

As the title says.....????

Mine thinks it is more fun to drive than her E46, but regards it as a hobby rather than a serious daily car. She'll happily drive it (well) but won't take it on motorway trips.#

my girlfriend loves my e30 im pleased to say ,she thinks they are awsome cars but loves mine in particular , not like most girls who say swear words like..... ''a cars just a piece of metal or its just a car''!! i guess im lucky tho ay

My fella actually likes both of my E30s, which is something of a miracle, being as he is a car-hating motorbike rider

My wife liked my 320i and appreciated its retro appeal. She always prefers to drive our E46 coupe though as all the controls are lighter and it doesn't have the E30 bus like steering box. She'll happily admit that the E30 was the more reliable of the two!

My wife is a reluctant driver,would sooner take the bus to go shopping...

.....and prefers driving an '85 Toyota Starlet....

But is quite happy to sit in the passenger seat whilst I enjoy myself.She does drive the touring every now and then when there is no alternative,but has yet be let loose in my cabbie!

she'd rather i spent money on my e30 getting everything up to scratch (and the correct amount of cylinders ) than keep buying $hitters every 6 months or so

.....my like doesnt like the e30 at all...although she is blind(she used to have an e46 as a company car a few years ago-before her accident!!)as she has never seen it she is aware what they look like and thinks they look like a pimps car!!!!!.........although she like's my 540....she loves the sounds of the v8 when my i put my foot to the floor

Been going out with my wife since she was 17 - so she was in my first E30 in the early 90s - so she understand.....I think.

one hated them, so she's an ex and one of the reasons i dumped her on her arse is becuse she didnt like me being involved with cars

the current GF like the cars and is happy for me to get on with it. she'll even come to shows/meets with me. vikki has had the pleasure of meeting pacerpete and few others from here.

my wife likes my current E30, she can only drive auto's so she did have a shot of a 320i auto i had a while back and she enjoyed it .. she say's she felt quite safe driving that one

she also liked "the look" of my old E30 cabby but hated being in it with the roof down! she say's it didn't feel safe & she felt over exposed! ??

on another note: my youngest daughter said she'll by me another cabby next year as long as i give her my i_S

my missus likes them and likes to learn about cars too so im really lucky but she wouldnt drive it as its too old she likes the newer bmw's and wants an e39.

she once asked me why every e30 always smells of damp lol.

my girlfriend has never driven my car, i wont let her. She says she hates it and that i think a lot more of the car than i do her (there might be something in that) yet she's always first to spot and point out other e30's when we're out in a excited way.
