Hi Guys,

Well I've got a 318iS at the moment . But not too long ago I - very foolishly - sold a 325 se 2 dr rightness - of course.

As much as I like the 318iS the 6 cylinder 325 was just a complete hoot.

So in my view go for the 325 even though the 318iS is a bit more rare.

That's not to say that the 318iS is boring just not quite so exciting.

I'm not counting the 325 cab I've got cos that's an auto so sort of doesn't compare. Extra weight plus automaticness.

BTW what I'd really like to do is rip out the 1.8 engine and slot in an engine from the Italian Stallion 320iS all 192 bhp of it but with similar handling to the 318iS.

So there you go.

This is me all over again,seen a nice 318is on ebay very clean put Ԛ£100 deposit on her last Saterday.
Supposed to pick up this weekend.
Last night just browsing ebay and i found an 86 325i sport in black lady owner looks real nice looking at the same money.
Sh1t deep down i know i want an mtec 1 sport but i also recall how much fun my old IS used to be.
Do i lose my money and follow my heart,but as soon as i get in the IS,the sports will all be forgotten lol.

I need help lol.

Dude... I know you've done this but double triple check the arches on the 86 car. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they are are a1. 86 is getting a tad early.

I have just spoke to the owner of the 325i sport arches need work,so will skip that 1 and go for the IS,thats if i dont see anything i like again on ebay lol.

Sh1t guys i need some advice i have put Ԛ£100 down on a 1990 318is last Saterday to pick up this Saterday but the owners said only sunday so its been put back to next Saterday.
I have been dealing with the father so far a Dr or so he says,who is doing the run around for his son who works late.
I asked him to tell his son to ring me as i had a few question to ask,he has just rang.

I knew by the add that she had a engine replacement with all the bills to prove but he has since told me the engine came out of a 318is compact did they make such a bmw and is it the correct engine.

He has also told me the headlining is dark grey.

Drivers door does not lock.

Passenger window when it goes down fuses the car somehow trapped wire in the door.

I am now starting to get worried as most of this things i did not know about before i put a deposit down.

Please advise on engine issue and headlining.
