Perhaps you should just try selling it for cash, then buying one rather than swapping?

if a swap not going to work i will have to sell and buy a 325

but a swap would save me sometime of going and looking for another one :)

It would, but its finding someone that wants to part with their own 2 door... Would be way easier to sell, then search for one... My computer is running extremely slow so I cant see the pictures of it.

Would you have a sale price?

loaded fine for me.

your add is all over the place.put a price up you think it's worth and list all it's good points and bad.
be honest here.if it's a sieve in the inner arches then say so or any-where else, what's the roof like etc because people who travel to l@@k e30 cabs and find the add misleading or not the truth will get very peed off for the waste of time and money involved.

more pics of the interior, bolsters etc any history, mileage all helps.

if your only after a 325i 2dr saloon with cash either way etc that might help.

or would you accept a 320i 2dr? or a 318is?.

just state something if not all of this.
start a new add with new pics and wording. that's my view anyhoo.

Yeah... Magpie has got it right there...

Make a new add...

If you spent the money on it and you think its worth it, put it up for 2k... If you think its worth more, all you can do is try... If it dont sell within a week, lower your price a bit...

Put standard suspension, wheels, grille and headrests on, and if the bodywork is as good as you say stick it up for £2k

The mods immediately narrow your Market and put off the people who may have wanted one back in the 80s but couldn't afford one but fancy one now the kids have left home.

Modified cars only appeal to people who like modified cars. Clean standard cars appeal to everyone, those that want a standard car, and those that want a clean tidy base to turn into their own.

i would preffer it to be standart and original but thats how i got it and to make it standard i would have to ad more money to it

Magpies on the right train of thought.

You've only just bought it and people don't forget that so you need to mention why you are selling it. Put up a wanted ad for some headrests, stick it on 15" bbs for a couple hundred and advertise for what you paid for it if you feel you might make a significant loss otherwise. I don't see why you should lose out for a decent looking cab.

Check out Blitz's advert in the For Sale section. Also, while the ads no longer on here you might find photo inspiration from my advert for a motorsport with a tatty arch:

To be honest, I quite like the look of the car, and is - if rot free- probably worth the price. The tellies' in the headrests are a bit of fun too. Sadly, I am a tight c**t, and not in the good way.

Have you tried selling it elsewhere?

I was going to add, maybe wrong time of year for selling a cabbie plus economic downturn*.

I'm sure I read somewhere that less second-hand cars were being sold at the moment.
