would a 2 door rear arch be the best to use to fit a new lip to a cabby?

also while the lip is off is it off how hard is it to replace an entire rear arch, as ive gota brand new bmw one sat doing nothing? i was told its not too much of a ballache. how does the inner arch attach to the inner inner arch??

also how much would an entire side respray set me back ??? or an entire respay being a cab? i'am not after a top notch job asllong as it shines, has very minimal overspray etc. i can put up with a tiny bit of orange peel in places as i dont have 2 grand :)

and one more, do aftermarket bonnets also fit shit like most other bits?

bonnets--------depends where you buy from..try roadracetrack.com they had some carbon fibre /fibreglass items at good prices
as for the respray..do some homework ring/drop in at a few local bodyshops and get some quotes..a full respray will always be better than a touch up...not as expensive as you might think
as for the arches i wouldnt like to comment as i aint got a clue! :D

surely its better off to get a good gen used bonnet, totaly clean it right up under and outer, and then get it sprayed with rest of car, than an aftermarket

if you get a cash job, go round local places in the car and ask them how much for a cash job, they usualy charge £100 a panel, so imagine under a grand for a cabby, but all depends on how much prep work etc is needed to get it al smooth ready for paint

Alex, I got two outer arches done on my cabby in May this year. I provided cabby front wings and got the arches done, with paint along both sides (including doors) for £700.

You've seen the pics of my rear arches and the paint, it was good.

It was Hadrians 2 door arch replacement panels and some fettling by the panel beater to get them to fit.
