Dont know if its a re-post or maybe even a misprint on the price, and to be honest ive seen rediculous prices on cars but this is seriously taking the urine!!

Someone, somewhere, will pay that though.
Though I have no idea how much an M3 Evo in brand new condition is worth!
I am just left here gawping at it though..

it has never been registered according to the ad. so would that mean you could register the car on a '60' plate?

No, he is a used car dealer. He has a personal collection of low milage, rare fords though.
IIRC he had a bit of a shady history which a lot of zoners seemed desperate to bring up which drove the guy off the site...shame really.

The collection he has is insane though and he paid less than that one is up for for both!

if the car was registered as a 2010 plate it would have to pass emmisions tests as it was a 2010 car, it wouldnt be able to..
the car above is a peice of history, its a collectors piece for someone with silly amounts of money

i'am sure there would be a way round that. as it was built 20 year ago

Emissions requirements for a car are based on the date of first use OR the build date of the engine, whichever is earlier. There are also specific exemptions, as no car is expected to produce lower emissions than when it was new.

Maybe its different over here, though i woudnlt imagine so, a guy i spoke to has an unregistered m3 with 60 miles on the clock and he told me that he has enquired and cannot put it on the road for this reason..
Saying that even if this wasnt true, it would have to be a sin to put an unregistered 60 mile m3 on the road anyway.

Thats just bonkers for a Lotus Cortina, even with provenance

tbf though even if 80 grand is abit over the top
if you still have it in that conditoin in another 20 years it would of been a worth while investment

Yeah Hellbound seemed to have a run in with the guy at some point. Was also a lot of jumping on the bandwagon after a google search revealed the guys past. In reality just a lot of jealous people.
You sure he paid less than that for them both? Don't remember him revealing the price. But do remember that stunning Merc Cossie Evo 2

I am sure Bonkers said he paid 50k for both of them. Was there thread removed or lock?
Like i say i couold be remembering wrong but it was in the thread

I don't think he did, i think someone guessed at 100k for all 4 he bought and i remember that seemed very cheap if it was.
Merc Cossie and some kind of Ford as well

The thread is still there but it's been heavily edited. I believe Bonkers got the hump from all the doubters and pulled out of the forum taking his posts wth him.
Some of the mods tried to exercise damage limitation - in order to keep him around- by removing any further posts relating to the purchase and the original thread.

100k for 4 cars with that merc
Thats probs less than 25k for each M3 then

Yeah bargain price
I doubt it though, don't think he paid close to 80k either

Absoultely incredible car and the underside is unreal. Has to be the ultimate original E30.
That said though at £80,000 I'd sooner take an original shell and rebuild it using all original parts then have around £50,000 change in my pocket, perhaps less but i'm pretty sure you could make quite a saving.
Wonder how much BMW would sell the M3 from their museum for

Surely a car that old though rubbers/seals would be no good from no use etc would they not? When I was a young boy my father had an old mini cooper s with super low low miles kept in a damp proof garage but due to not being used etc he had to replace all the rubbers and seals around boot and doors etc to sell it as they were no good. Wouldn't that be the case here?

FFS how much would it cost to replace all rubbers and bushings mate, about £500? Hardly the end of the world is it

80 thousand smackeroonies, at a guess.
Why is it such a shame he left? Unless Bonkers financial
situation has gone Pear shaped lately, then he was clearly only
after the Cars for profit. Which in itself is not a crime, but what exactly was he bringing to the Table?
Sure there are pics of the Cars on the Web somewhere or other,
which is probably as close as anyone here was going to get to
them. Not rying to reopen old wounds, but some of the fawning
going on back then was equalled only by the Jealousy shown by others. Lessons to be learnt on both sides, maybe ?
