I've driven 700 miles in my E30 in the last week, including a blast down the Brecon roads

.. my bank balance has been demolished though.

My cabby has been to both Lands End and John o'Groats. Not bad considering I live in Central Scotland. (and it's only a little 4 pot!)

Considering heading to the Lake District for hols next summer - could be fun.
On a decent run, I can fill the tank and get close on 400 miles.

just make sure youve got good brakes and a good clutch!!!!!
plenty of videos on you tube to wet your appitite, i would`nt recomend trying to drive fast like some of the video idiots 95% of accidents in the lakes are visitors who try to be clever and dont know the roads

Mine has done two trips to the nurburging and back (700 miles each time). The zone roam twice (around 2000 miles each time by the time i've driven up to scotland from the south coast) and down to italy and back via the alps and the nurburgring (2800 miles). It's also my daily drive.
It's on 188k now... not bad for an old barge
