E30 Zone

just took this lsd diff off a breaker 325 and found these numbers on it 210 411 E
Other side not readable, but has this near to the bottom

how do i know which one it is... help please

turn one side and if it an lsd the opposite side should rotate in the same direction,if the opp side rotates the opp way ,then it an oped diff.

i know its a lsd as i turned it and both sides turn the same way, but how do you know what the ratio is? thanks

there should be a tag on one of the bolts on the rear of the diff, if not turn the imput shaft and count how many times that turns until the output ones do a complete turn.

if its off a 325 it should be a 3.64

just found the tag! gave it a right scrub and found the numbers
its a s3.91 lsd... what setup would this have come off? rear disk,yellow sport shockers?

The reason i ask is this breaker (baur) who someone had spent alot of time doing but never got to see the road! 318i baur shell, most of the welding was done, under car stripped and rebuilt with the rear susspension and diff.
A full genuine sport m tech 2 kit, (reason i bought it) a houndstooth recaro interior, leather door cards and the GENUINE leather console, 325i engine, short shift 260 getrag gearbox, even the doors shadowline coupe doors,rear quaters changed and the facelift rear panel,wings bonnet. All these body parts were off the same car...
Car has been stood for ten years after they did all this work!

Could all these parts be off a 325i sport? or a 318is?
any info on the diff or gearbox would be helpful.

3.91 lsd will be of a facelift Sport, Tech 1 sports ran a 3.64lsd.
All the above sounds like it's all Sport stuff added to the Baur.

so is it a sport short shift geabox? 260 getrag?

Not too sure on that one, some did come with "Sport" gearboxes, but the majority were just 2.5 boxes.
