E30 Zone

Hi all,new to all this.
Just bought a G plate 318i with a rod through the block for road rallying.
I have got access to a rotten s plate e36 is i can take bits off, what will fit/is worth swapping over? Could do with the engine more than anything!!
Any info would be great

Grab the steering rack too

I miss the 'IS' bit doh!

As about E36 rack is about 1 turn lock to lock less that the e30 one.

Its easy to fit and there is loads of info on here how to do it.

Other than that i would leave the 36 alone

anyone have a how to link for the e36 rack swap cant find one

Are the shockers/springs interchangable? The car i bought is dropped onto its bump stops, which looks cool, but is feck all use down the lanes!!
