Quick question. I've gotta go get a spare key cut, as I snapped my stupid monkey-part key in the boot lock
Is it possible to get a proper BMW key from anywhere, or at least a blank one to take to the cutters? I don't want another one that looks like a flimsy 1950's house key!

Go to your local dealer or cotswold, they can supply you with new blank keys

pelicanparts.com has new OEM E30 keys with the internal light, or did two weeks ago when I got mine.

Showing at $33.75 each but out of stock, non-illuminated $32.25! Equates to around £20.58 plus shipping across the pond.

ive got a new blank illuminated key with the leather pouch that you never see, sure it wasnt that much

No way! I'll give BMW a call today and see if they can order me in one of those keys! I'm fed up of having a key that looks like it should open a shed, rather than my.... er... shed.
