A guy stopped while I was working outside and asked for my opinion on the below car, his father has passed away and he wants to sell it on to an enthusiast

I don't know the full story other than it was his fathers car, always been garaged, oil change every 3000miles by BMW full service history, 2 owners from new, always garaged, 61.283 miles and very tidy.

Only downside (for some) it's an auto and only a 318i

Have a look at the photos and give me your guestamation, I know it's only a guess without proper close up photo's.

 Now that is stunning.

TBH you stick that on ebay, the way chromie's are going lately it'll probably fetch 1500 quid plus.

If it was his "Dad's" pride and joy, he sould be keeping it.

On here, that car is only good for an engine swap so unlikely to attract much. You should have bid him £300 Charlie :) Then put it on ebay/ carandclassic etc :D

The family are in the middle of sorting out the estate and he'd rather this went to an enthusiast that will look after it and enjoy it.. the way it should be.

If I'd offered £300 and he'd accepted this for me would be a keeper

I'm hoping it'll go to a good home and not molested
