Hey guys, the search has been going on for about a month now. I think I found one, what do you think?
Here are a few details:
-1989 BMW 325is w/ 155,xxx Miles
-2.5 Liter 6 Cylinder Engine
-5 Speed Manual Transmission
-Bronze/Beige Exterior w/ Tan Leather Interior
-"S" Package includes Front & Rear Spoilers, 14" BBS Basketweave
Wheels,
Sport Seats, Sport Steering Wheel & Knob, and a 6 Speaker Stereo
System.
I've owned the car for 4 years and since I've added the following:
-Blaupunkt CD Player
-Infinity Kappa 5.25 Speakers
-All Weather Rubber Floor Mats
-European Front License Plate
-AC Shnitzer Front Grill Badge
-Freshly Powder Coated Wheels
The car has a clean CarFax report. The asking price is $3500.
Off the bat I would redo the wheels a different color and give it a nice drop. Not sure if i'd take the modding further, I still want a comfortable daily driver
Here are the pics:

Would look nicer in MT2 kit but there is nothing wrong with that at all. Interior is quite nice, exterior is clean and well looked after.
I would pay $3500 for that all day long.

Thanks for the help, to those who did
I don't think any model in the US came with the kit unfortunately. That's probably why EDM E30s look so much nicer than USDM ones whenever I see one :p
How is that car a shitter? If think all E30s are shitters and you're just trolling, fine, but if you're an enthusiast and you're still calling it a shitter i'd like to know why.
EDIT: Unfortunately I don't think we ever got colormatched moldings either

Oh so you're just trolling, I see. Well, i've never owned an E30. I wouldn't even call myself a true enthusiast (yet) but they've really been appealing to me lately, at least the EDM ones!
You don't need to tell me there's more to life than E30s (or cars/bikes in general) because I live life to the fullest

Does anyone know if BMW puts their pinstripes under the clearcoat? I'd like to peel that off if I do purchase the car.
Posted: Thu Sep 15, 2005 3:09 am
by ouch
NO THEY DONT BUT BE CAREFUL WHEN TAKEING THEM OF YOU COULD PULL OFF THE LAQUER

Don't think so, as I can feel the surface of the pin on one of my e34s, and they sell the replacement pins on the ETK, but even though its on the surface, peeling it on a car thats 16 years old cant be good for the paint.

Hi Goldfingiz
I would say go for it, its a very clean looking car. It is an IS, the US models had to cut back on the sporty outlook to get past certain laws State side. Its not a big problem really because you can make her look euro.
The Pinstripes are usually put on afterwards and should not be under the clear coat.
Hope this helps and good luck mate
