the proper bolt on way is to swap complete E30 M3 gear over, it isn't cheap but this is the proper way of doing it.
The other way is to use the trailing arms from an E36 318ti compact that has the disc rear brakes and then E36 M3 EVO front arms/hubs/legs etc

E30 M3 Running gear for the easiest swap, Gonna be £1k plus, by the time you have done bushes, pipes and pads etc.
Can't really see the point on a cab.

328i sports have mtec springs and dampers, but standard e36 geometry. normal 328i have normal e36 suspension. the e36 m3 evo is the only one with different geometry which can be made to work well on an e30.

can the sport legs not be used and the hub bolt spaced out? or will this not work? guessing the wheel will sit wrong in the arch if they are used?

To do it 'Properly' using E36 stuff, you need E36 M3 Evo legs/hubs and Evo wishbones.
Using normal E36 stuff will result in the wheel not sitting in the centre of the arch.

I have the rear trailing arms from a 2.8 z3 for sale. They come reinforced as standard with 5 x 120 hubs. I am selling them complete with 272mm dia brake discs, calipers, driveshafts

so i see but i can get a complete ti rear end for half that!
so whats different from the evo hubs to normal ones? not trying to be funny but i'd like to know so no one thumbs me off some normal ones for evo ones....
so if i have evo legs and hubs will it all just bolt up?

You get what you pay for Lee!!
The 318ti rear end was designed to handle the output of a sub 2.0 being driven by a hairdresser!!
The 2.8i z3 trailing arms have reinforcing webs etc to handle the extra ponies and enthusiastic driving
As that saying goes "but hey it's your car" !!

sub 2.0 is perfect! its a 316! lol..
only looking into this as its about as low as i can go, and i don't have the "look " i want, so fitting bigger wheels and gaining more tuck is the answer! ( live out in the sticks and 80mm drop tends to like tarmac!)
as i broke a 328 sport, which had m wheels on so i am looking into putting these on, as also the front legs complete, and the local scrap yard has a ti ...so it seems like a possible solution...

you need
e36 m3 evo hubs (only way to tell is the part number)
36 m3 evo wishbones (only way to tell is the part number)
e36 m3 front struts
e36 m3 calipers
e36 m3 disks
new brake hoses
probaly want to uprate the brake master cylinder
e30 front springs
e30 top mounts
e30/36 m3 front offset track control arm bushes
for the rear complte e36 compact or z3 rear trailing arms with disks, calipers, drive shafts etc and a new set of hand brake cables as it will be easier than messing with the current ones.
I have seen it done with stock e36 hubs but the strut tops where redrilled and the car had massive castor and issues with the spring seats
