Parts for sale forum???

Confused here, Is the parts for sale forum not for E30 Enthusiasts to offer for sale parts to fellow E30 Enthusiasts??????

If this is the case as I had been led to believe why has my listing of parts been removed along with a message regarding trader status?
I am not a business and do not portray my self as being.
I purchased a 1987 E30 for spares for my 1990 E30 & was selling the items I didn't need on here along with some parts I had acquired & purchased in the past by mistake.

Can anyone explain why it was removed or help to get my listing back on the parts for sale as I am trying to get rid of these parts to make room in my garage to carry out the restoration required on my E30 320i

It is good that they are strict on here unlike other forums but there will always be one or two that get the wrong idea or impression about something. Id contact a mod and not worry about it too much :D

i've not seen your parts ad but i reckon £8 for a month isn't bad considering your ad is in the top half of the first page in that section mostly when i look lately.

you could always try egay!

1 thing being in the top half, someone actually buying parts is a different kettle of fish though Magpie. I tried E-bay too mags and got a 3 day ban for saying in my lisintgs other parts available, despite listing 15 items at a time & getting charged for them when they didn't sell :(

i fully understand how it is.
you could hover the wanteds or wait for free parts listing on egay then state your min price for no fee as opposed to risking stuff for 99p :? or pay a small contribution to your host and get nice gold ribbon :chuckle:

you haven't been on here very long and selling run of the mill parts on here takes an age unless they are almost free

Des,

Yes the For Sale section is the correct place for Zoners to sell the odd few parts without charge.

Regular traders pay a subscription and Fraggers (such as yourself) are invited to make a £5 a month contribution towards the fees which E30zone towards hosting and bandwidth.

Not too much to ask considering you are advertising around £1000 pounds worth of goods.

Link to subscription page is http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name=Subscription

The contribution also makes it more of a level playing field for Traders who pay on a regular basis.

Your advert can be re-instated once you have subscribed.

Hope that helps.

Regards,

Iain
