ok gone and bought a tourer clutch is stuck on constantly rest dont look to bad apart from tacky crome arches now do i put her back on road or break it unsure here would need some advice thx guys

Probably nothing wrong with the clutch itself. More likely a hydraulic problem if the pedal goes to the floor, or just frozen on due to lack of use for a while if the cars been sitting around.
If the latter, put it in fifth gear, press the brake and clutch pedals and try to start it.
Alternatively, put the back end on axle stands, put it in fifth and start the engine. Dont go above about 50 MPH on the speedo, because if one rear wheel drags and doesn't turn, the other will be doing 100 MPH and getting towards the point where it can be damaged by centrifugal forces. Press the clutch pedal, get it to 50MPH or so on the speedo, and push the brake pedal hard a few times..
Whether you break it or no depends largely on the extent of the rust.

i`ve had the clutch stuck a couple of times i`ve just started the car in gear and driven it up the lane, booted it with clutch down and it frees up

yea the car has been sat in a barn for 2 years would add a picture but unsure to how thx for all input might well be worth putting back on road and sell my 325i coupe

The guy offered it to me for cheap, but would not give out much details about the 'issue' with the clutch, so I didn't bother.

So he sold it on eGay for cheap, so you've got a bargain I'd say.

Check the bodywork and engine, and if that's all OK, then change the clutch and use it. And yes, get rid of the chrome arches, as they could be hiding rust. Don't see any other reason for having them on a white car...
